EP#28: What to do When You Feel Disrespected

One of the leading causes of burnout is the lack of respect from admin, staff and colleagues. The problem is, respect is a feeling, and feelings come from our thoughts. When we are burnt-out, our brain is in survival mode and primarily is run by the primitive part of our brain, which views most interactions as negative. Today we are going to discuss why we often feel disrespected when we are burnt-out and some strategies for what to do about it.
